I was a little surprised to see a brand like Windsor at the Bread & Butter placed in the L.O.C.K. area, but if you dig deeper you know why. The men's clothing factory Roos & Kahn was founded in Bielefeld, at that time the centre of German textile industry, in 1889. From 1960 the company is called Windsor and at first specializes in men's clothing and later also woman's clothing. For Spring/Summer 2013, Windsor puts together a smart collection with unconstructed cotton blazers in double breasted and 2 button styles, vests in a cotton herringbone, in different color options and lots of colors in the chino. I very much like the idea of the use of left-over fabrics from suits to make a handsome tie (as you can see in some of the pictures), a big advance is that they don't wrinkle.
