Two weeks ago, we had the pleasure of doing a photo shoot for our upcoming kids' section in our shop Rhymes With Orange. My sister, Megan Kroeker shot all of the photos and was amazing with the kids and we could not have been happier with how the photos turned out! All square photos are medium format shot with a Kiev 60, and the 35 mm were shot with a Nikon F3. There were lots to chose from, but we narrowed it down to our very favorite shots from the day. This is still a photo-heavy post, but we don't think you will mind at all! If you want to see more of her work, you can check out Megan's Flickr here, as well as her blog.
All of the clothes in the photos (and many, many more!) will be for sale in the shop starting this Saturday evening from 7pm-10pm!
The day was a rather hectic one, there were paper mache vegetables and masks; outfit changes and temper tantrums, and many glasses of wine (for the adults of course!) but overall it was a huge success! We want to say a huge thank you to Megan, all of the parents of the kids, as well as the kids themselves!
On that note, we would like to introduce some of the cutest kids around...Rollin, Olive, Beatrice & Rusty!
Meet Rollin & Olive. Our superhero pair for the day!
The sweatshirt that Rollin is wearing is made by none other than our photographer, Megan! We are going to be selling onesies, shirts and sweatshirts that she screen-prints, in our kids shop, as well as the handmade dolls called "Lady Long Bodies" that she makes. Olive is holding one of the rabbit dolls that will be available!
Tiny Rusty, what a cutie!
Beatrice, what a beauty!
Tender moments, the boys of the hour, Rollin holding his bud Rusty.
This was taken near the end of day, inside Stef's house. Olive and Rollin cheers-ed away while the adults feasted on Stef's magnificent cheese board (no one makes a cheese board like that girl!) and wine.
We watched from the sidelines as Megan worked her magic.
The kids section in our shop will be open to the public on Tuesday, October 9th at 11 am, so if you have a tiny human in your life, be sure to come and check it out!
