I found these awesome vintage pics of cars from "surf teams" of the 50's on flickr. Nothing is known about the guys in the photo nor about the make of the cars and certainly noting about the "surf teams".

The Fiat 500 turned 55 this year, was first produced in 1957, when the economy was booming. The idea was to give the new Italian middle-class a car that could be used everyday from the short daily commute to the longer family vacation. The Fiat 500 became the symbol of a stylish and cosmopolitan Italian lifestyle. A modern design, appealing colors, easiness in driving: the car was exactly what people needed. The truly affordable price also helped it become an extreme popular car. Great surfing pictures are curated by Surf City, A historic Houses Trust blog. Surf City will track Sydney's dynamic surf scene through the 50's, 60's and 70's spanning an amazing period of social upheaval, post war optimism, teen angst, rock & roll, prosperity, drugs and shifting cultural frontiers. An exhibition is coming to the Museum of Sydney in September 2011. The exhibition will contain boards, movies, photos, magazines, clothes, everyday surf wares and treasures.
