THE SHIRT THAT DRESSED YALE

The first GANT shirts were worn by Yale students and professors. Their desire for a more comfortable and relaxed fashion helped make New haven, the hometown of both GANT and Yale, the style capital of the entire East Coast collegiate world. To celebrate the homecoming of GANT in New Haven, the Yale Co-op shirt, has been re-launched. The shirt remains true to the 1960s original it comes in 10 basic and 4 seasonal styles. The basic shirts are made of 100% cotton semi-light weight Archive Oxford cloth in solids, bold stripes and Tattersall checks. The seasonal shirts are made of crisp hand loom madras in summery Yale blue tones. All have original features such as the locker loop, the back collar button and the box pleat. The label remains true to the original Yale Co-op design and the shirt is presented in authentic 1960s - style packaging. You can buy the shirts as from now in selected Gant Stores and premium retailers worldwide.
